Since last year, we have been preparing for a new agricultural project which will start next year. We are going to teach local children and their parents how to grow vegetables and fruit, and also how to fix agricultural machines by working together.

Last month our church member Elder Nakaniwa, who was the first man baptized into
the Adventist church on Tsushima, died in an accident when he visited an elderly care
center. He was 79 years old, a very dedicated and faithful member of our small church,
and we were very shocked and saddened by his sudden death.

This Summer 2019, I had the beautiful opportunity of traveling to Tsushima, Japan to do some mission work. Ever since I was young, I've wanted to travel to Japan, so it didn't take much to convince me to jump at the golden opportunity. The Gospel concert was successful in reaching those who had never heard the Good News. Among the 15 to 20 people who attended this concert there was at least one person who had been seeking truth and meaning in life.
